Back against the cinder-block, Blindfold on. Solar radiation, Pushin' heat, In my winter skin. Highway in the distance, Hear a craftsman's saw. Scenery pictured vivid, Even though I'm blind of it. Fell into a swimming pool, My tux on. Everybody fell in too, That was nice of them. Floated on my back, Against the turquoise dark. Questioned my aloneness, When the water started rippling. Morning's bleeding over, Bleaching black from the sky. Eyes relaxed, I isolate the fan blades, On high. Nothing holds an anvil, On the spaciousness here. The whole world hush.

A shuttle’s falling out of space. Glides overhead into a water tower. Its flames go surfin’ on the waves. Up to me, then it stops. I awake to no relief. A decade spent like it’s the final hour. More like a man than a machine? Keepin’ quiet that I’m not. My thoughts go winding through the bends of a circuit board. Algorithmic forms of feelings fully natural. Something plays me like a needle from another life. I’m back in. Back in. Back in a different form. Look how happy, A model of a man can be. Just look how happy, This model of a man can be.

There's a lion. There's a lion. In the hall. In the hall. In the hall without a door. A door. There's a lion. There's a lion. In the hall. In the hall. In the hall without a door. A door. A door.

Here, Our talks and aloneness, Our fatal fear nets, For grabbing hold. There, You chained yourself to me. "No matter what I'll be, Peripheral." Now, I've got a match to strike. To hold up to my eye, And back to yours. We'll, We'll watch our pupils squeeze, Looking into me, And me in you. Here, Our toxin aloneness, Our fatal nearness, Keeps grabbing hold. There, A bloodied body breathes, Breathes next to me. Then breathes no more. Now, I've got a leak to fix, A cork and sewing kit, To patch the pulse. We'll, We'll watch our pupils pool, I'll leak to animate you. It's me in you. Some me to animate you. It's me in you. Some me to animate you. It's me in you. Reinvention. Reinventions. Now your essence wrapped in skin, Said it'd like to have it's body back. Said, "You're always where you are, There's no angle cutting 'round the fact." Then you memorize and plan, Knowing thorough how it's gonna go. "So you'd better turn around, Push on through what's pushing you." Now, I've got a match to strike. To hold up to my eye, And back to yours. We'll, We'll watch our pupils squeeze, Looking into me, And me in you. I've got a leak to fix, A cork and sewing kit. To patch the pulse. We'll, We'll watch our pupils pool, I'll leak to animate you. It's me in you. Some me to animate you. It's me in you.

The only choice we really have, Is staying in or getting out. But if you’re in then you may ask, What’s this “in” thing all about? Now you concentrate too hard, On thoughts outside your own. Between manuals and Zen, And the fads turned decades cold. Once you’ve turned upright within, With boundaries like a bubble blown, You could step right out the film, And back down in your living room. Now you’ve pounded out yourself, Still the future tends to sneak, From the hole that no light fills, And attacks as it recedes. The only choice we really have, Is staying in or getting out. But if you’re in then you may ask, What’s this “in” thing all about? You say, “I wake up everyday.” Like the taste of lemon zest. Then there’s no thoughts more complete, Than the ones still left unsaid. The only choice we really have, Is staying in or getting out. But if you’re in then you may ask, What’s this “in” thing all about? Then you… You float like you know. Controlled like you know. Asleep like you know. You float like you know. You float like you know. You float like you know. You float like you know. You float like you know. You float like you know. You float like you know.

Will you know when to know, Which face to follow? Now tonight's grayed the gold. Still it's gray you want though.
